One Year Old

My baby boy turned one last week. I can't believe how quickly this first year has passed. It seems that he has grown up so much in the past year. We had grandparents and some aunts, uncles, and cousins over for Clark's party. Clark loved having company and has thoroughly enjoyed the gifts that he received. He was pretty cute with his toys. He received a shopping cart from his grandparents and it required some assembly. Clark thought that he needed to help his Papa assemble it. Apparently a hammer is his tool of choice. He also spent about an hour fastening the screws on the back of his basketball hoop with his dad's car keys. We had a great time at his party.

Jake and I feel so blessed to have Clark in our home. He is helping us learn, and grow. He is a very curious, busy, and smart boy. We love him so much. He really is our greatest source of happiness (and also frustration, but that comes with the territory).

We are Moving

That's right we are moving. We are busting out of B-town and moving to the big city...alright so we aren't moving to the big city and we are barely getting out of Blackfoot, but we will be in Idaho Falls. Jake has been commuting for a few months now and we are ready to be done with that. We are buying a little starter house that we are really excited about-thanks to President Obama. Yeah-we are so excited. We are supposed to close on the house next week if all goes through.

Suckers

Okay, so I am going to be honest. These photos are from my phone and I have no idea how to rotate them and I am too lazy to try to figure it out. The pictures are from our neice's birthday party on the 24th of August. I just thought that it was so cute to see 3 little babies eating suckers. They got the suckers from a pinata.

Denver

We had such a great time in Denver. Thanks Amanda and Josh. Here are few pictures from our trip. There is a really nice neighborhood park that we played at. We all had fun playing.

Denver

We decided to take advantage of the long labor day weekend and make a trip down to Denver to visit my
sister Amanda and her cute family. It had been a while since we had seen them, and much longer since we had been able to see her husband. We invaded their home less than 48 hours after they moved into their new place. It was so much fun to see them and to explore Denver. We visited downtown and also managed to escape the city and visit Mt. Evans via the nations highest road at nearly 14K feet. It was great.

Bear Lake Blues

This past weekend we made our way down to an annual family reunion at Bear Lake. Both Jake and I have been going to Bear Lake since we were little kids. It probably my favorite place in Idaho/Utah. It has great sandy beaches, the water is clean and clear, and it seems like you can

Emily and Brandon

Jake's sister Emily recently got married. Here are a few pictures from their reception. We are really excited for the new couple. We were also excited to be able to take a few family photos. I especially like the 4 generations of Jones boys.
